i just purchased a new prs-t1 reader complete with 'excerpts' installed by sony. how do you delete books/excerpts from this reader?
when i go to 'options' there is no 'delete'. is there anyone out there who can advise me?

Hello Tess - yes, they are ......welll,eclectic, aren't they !
I seemed to have nothing but Bronte, Dickins and Wilde - I would pay to see 'em in the same room, but the books weren't not what I would have chosen at the time !
Incidentally, for free epub books, including the ones you already have (!) Project Gutenberg is excellent, or the MobileRead Library, all very well formatted by members.
No Sony store yet, don't forget, which I believe will contain some freebies - should do, after all the waiting - so don't bother there yet.
Now.......... yes, you can delete.....
Go to.... Home, then Books.
When they come up, simply touch the one you wish to delete, light pressure, and keep the finger/stylus (if you haven't yet lost it!) on the book.
A sub-menu will come up, with "Delete this..", tap that, it'll assume you're daft and ask again, tap yes... and the book'll be gorn.
