I'm constantly getting an error when loggin into Reader Store on my PRS-T1
Internal system error. Please try later. If
you still experience same issue, take
note of the error code and conrtact
Sony Support. (-99999)
This is a brand new device. I've registered the device with the PC based Reader software and authorised both the PC and the device. I have tried the suggestion by mawarde84 in the post on the 22nd Aug which does not work for me. I have not once been able to login with the device. I have used the latest reader software from the website.
It is not the login credentials that are wrong, as if I put in the wrong email or password, then it tells me that one or the other is wrong.
I have also tried resetting and then changing my password, but to no avail. I can login and browse the Reader store on the PC OK, it's just the device that refuses to work.
Any ideas ????

Always check if a similar problem has occurred before - pretty recently in this case, a few posts down, didn't even need to Search .......
Good luck.

I've found the solution.
Open reader software on the pc and de-authorize the reader and unplug then plug back in and it should automatically authorize again.
You do the de-authorization by going to info - edit - preferences - authorization - then de-authorize the device (not the pc).
Cheers
I have already tried mawarde84s' suggestion which did not work for me ... as my original post stated.
Since then, I have done hard-reset and formatted internal memory (suggestion from elsewhere). Still can't login to the Sony store from the reader via Wireless.
I can browse books in the Sony store on my PC using Reader for PC, buy books, send them to my reader and that works fine.
I can buy, download and read Adobe DRM epub books from the Kobo store using just the PRS-T1 and that works fine.
The only thing that doesn't work is the Reader store app in the device. Looks like Sony won't be getting any of my book-buying business as I can get them elsewhere quite successfully. It's a shame really, as I would like to get this working.

Having exactly the same problem.
Contacted Sony Support who say they know about it and are "working on a solution".

Thanks landescape ... it's good to know that you're not alone 😉
In my experience, Sony work on things very slowly, so I won't hold my breath !
Looking at this later, it's not really such a big issue, as I will mostly buy books via my PC and uploading from there, which works just fine. Buying books using the inbuilt browser is a bit tedious anyway ... I tried it with the kobo store, and although it works OK, it's definitely tedious and a bit hard on the eyes as well.
