I am unable to transfer files to my reader

I have recently been given a reader, and have followed all the instructions to  download and store books in the library, but when I try to transfer them to the reader it just sits there saying processing, but does nothing, I have left it for 3 hours once and it still does nothing.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi, when you say you were given a Reader, was it new or used?

Where are the eBooks from?

Does this happen with free eBooks downloaded from your MySony profile?

I purchased a PS-300B reader a month ago and this week started getting the same problem.

All I did was add a new group and put a dozen files into it like I had on several other occasions.

I have tried uninstalling the software and re-installing it but when I open it again it still contains all the books, I dont have to add them again, and when I plug the reader back in it still just says processing.

have you downloaded the files to your PC's hard drive.?

Have you imported the books into the Reader library correctly.?

If you're using Sony's supplied software (Reader Library) I'm not surprised tha you're having problems. Does it show an icon for your ebook reader?

I've given up using it with my PRS350, because it doesn't work.

Try using Calibre (http://calibre-ebook.com/) instead.
