How do I delete notes on a PRS 600?

How do you delete notes from a PRS 600? I bring up the list by going into all notes but from there the options menu only gives me thc choice of sort, search or orientation. Going into them individually doesn't offer the option of deleting either - except for deleting the whole book. What am I doing wrong????

In the Notes list press the Option button to open the options menu then tap Delete Notes.
Then tap Yes to delete all the notes in the list.
