It would be nice if there was some programme designed to block inane, infantile spam wasting the Forum space. Is there not an auto junk remover tool that could swing into action ?

I really can't see the point - what thrill is there in seeing nonsense you've originated appearing on the site you've sent it too ?

I mean, it's not as if it's much of a challenge, is it ! We ain't the Pentagon, or MI6 archives, are we ?

Of course, if they've registered to post on the Forum, which in theory should be the case, they can be closed down - but perhaps that's the challenge ?

It's best just to ignore spam type posts, they may get a kick out a thread being created to discuss their actions.

There was me expecting a whole new array of confusion (for Mr. TechDunce here, at least)  to get used to, and lo and behold, it's comfortingly familiar ...

This from someone who's having a wholesale change of lifestyle already - 'cos I've leapt, as in an instant, from Win XP to Win 8, so at least one thing's the same !

[Shan't be bothering the Facebook/Twitterati  community just yet, despite my son's urging ..... one small step for ...me, is about all I can cope with at the moment, thanks ...:smileyblush: ]

I assumed, as usual,  I was a bit behind the times picking up my emails ...... don't say it was a spam fritter !
