About the font size change

I have a PRS-650 and a question.

The font size change just doesn't work for many pdfs. I preffer to resizing rather than zooming because I find this second option much more unconfortable.

Can somebody explain me or send my some references so that I can understand why some pdfs can be resized and some others cannot be?

Is there a prefereable format on which the font can always be resized? Can I convert pdfs to that format fast? How?

I attach two pictures that show one case of problem when changing font size.

in the first picture (100_1933.jpg) the pdf is shown complete (with S font size). In the second picture (100_1934.jpg) is shown what happens when I resize to L font size. As you can see everything is messed up.

There are some PDF with "text" and some with "image" (even if it's an image of text) reason why you can't change font size on every PDF
