Xperia e4 turning itself off

Translation via Google Translate:

Hello, I'm having a problem with my xperia, because even though it's still charged with 90% of the battery it turns itself off and it appears on the screen that the battery is exhausted ... If I wait a few minutes and I'll call the battery again it's still about 90 %. But if I keep using it happens the same in a few minutes ... I've left it loading all night and it's still going on .. I do not know what else to do ... I'm waiting for an answer

Hi @MikaR,

I'm sorry to hear this.

First I would recommend that you temporarily remove any SIM and SD card from your device to see if they may be the cause of this behavior.

I would also recommend that you reboot your device to safe mode to see if this behavior is caused by one of your downloaded apps as these will be temporarily disabled in this mode.

If there still is no change I recommend that you perform a software repair using Xperia Companion.

Keep me posted how it goes!

Hi @fg108,

I'm sorry to hear this. Slightly_frowning_Face

Have you tried any of the troubleshooting suggested in this threat? If you have tried it all and you are still experiencing the same behavior I recommend that you get in contact with your Local support team for assistance with finding the nearest authorized Sony service center.

thank you for your message.

i did try everything suggested without any result.

i contacted the support but the only result is to send the device to the assistance.....

But the assistance requires that i have another smartphone because they do not provide a temporary one during the assistance operations.

so the only solution i see is to buy another smartphone, and it will not be a Sony at all, i think now.

If anyone has an idea for a proper solution, please inform.

thank you

@fg108, if you have tried all troubleshooting and you are still experiencing the same behavior I can only recommend that you have your device sent in to an authorized service center like you local support team suggested.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience this may cause. Slightly_frowning_Face
