Xperia E4 Dual Dead. Won't charge, won't start, won't connect to PC , Won't reset.

Hi members. I am Caesar and new to the community. My device is a Xperia E-2115 (E4 Dual) .
My phone died recently and it won't switch on or charge even after keeping it plugged in for more than 8 hours. The red light is constant as long as phone is connected to a power outlet. I have already attempted the following methods, though unsuccessfully :
1. Tried a soft reset (Vol Up + Power) . Nothing. No vibrations or light up or LED. Just dead.
2) Tried to repair connecting to the PC but PC doesn't detect device at all. Tried doing the connection without sim and SD but still nothing.
3) Tried a hard reset with the OFF button + Vol key. Though it seems that the OFF button is either broken or missing. So even hard reset won't work.
4) Tried disconnecting-reconnecting the battery at a gap of 10 minutes approx. No luck. I also tried another battery. Still nothing.
The only noticeable thing is that after I tried recharging and pressed the power on, I could see there was a very brief dull flash lasting a fraction of a second and this loop goes on and on, continuously for a day until (I suppose) the battery is exhausted. The "dull flash" doesn't even light up the screen and can only be seen or felt if one observes it very minutely . (It is like how a toy light or leds very faint glow when it's battery is almost empty).
I can't figure out what the problem is , ie, if it's a hardware issue or a corrupt software . If it's a hardware issue could it be the Display or the PCB itself ? How can I be sure ? Can such a problem be caused by the broken/missing OFF Button besides the SIM slot?
If it's a software issue and the phone is not detected by a PC, I can't do much about anything like update or XC based software repair.
Your views on this would be much appreciated.
Regards. -- Caesar
