Sony Xperia E gmail problem

i got new sony Xperia E.

Started to use gmail. and am not able to find the sign out/ logout.

if i comes to home page also still my gmails are opened.

how to logout from gmail. please help me in this.

you can't, you need an active gmail account to use the playstore and google services, remember that Android is made/dev by Google.

you could do this

settings > accounts > google > sign out but you wont be able to download or update apps

no need to download any application. just i want signout from gmail.

if i open gmail automatically opens my account mails. not able to check my othaer account mailx. so just i wanted to signout the gmail.

help me.

the gmail app its only for Gmail accounts, you can have multiple gmail accounts, if you want to use a different email (not gmail) then you could

1) use the Email app

or

2) download a better app (K9, maildroid, etc) from the play store.

in my mobile email i have logged in my account. am not able to find sigmout. now i want to logout. and login with new account.

email application already exsits. why should i download other applications?

1st the gmail app its ONLY for gmail accounts

2nd you need to have a gmail account with your phone, you can add the new GMAIL account then follow the steps above to delete the current gmail

3rd the pre-loaded gmail app its too basic, there are far better option on the play store.

and one doubt...

gamil if i click on gmail automatically my mails are opened without asking any username/password.

if i delete the gmail accout in  normal mobile settings-> accounts > google > menu > remove account.

the account will be deleted. then again i wil click on the gmail, then will use it. then if i want to logout again i have to go and delete account normal mobile settings-> accounts > google > menu > remove account.

is it the way i can do it?
