Phone not reading the SIM card

Hi, my phone doesn't read the simcard and my mobile network setting is just blank. Please help.

Would it be possible for you to test another SIM card in your phone? This would help us determine if this is related to your phone or your SIM.

If you can't borrow a SIM from a friend or a family member your operator should be able to provide you with one if you contact them.
