Missing app icons in app tray

Hi

I have a bunch of apps installed but I cant see them in the app tray or desktop.  Roughly a third is missing

To run the apps I have to go to Google Play and 'open' them from in there.  I obviously need an internet connection for this.

If I uninstall and reinstall the app, it will appear in the system tray but vanish at some future point.

Any idea what is going on and what I can do to fix it?

Thanks!!

You probably have an issue with the SD card.

I have to agree with uliwooly, it's related to the SD card or to the fact that some apps moved in the SD card once updated they will return to the internal storage and all shortcuts from the home page will show a message saying "app not found" because that said shortcut is in fact not anymore valid.

You can't do this you can't save memory 😔

Every time you restart the phone the applications on sd card will disappear

.

.

Return it to phone memory then restart the phone
