Impossible to install APK files!

I tries so many times to Install files like application.apk (.apk files) and I can't! There is a message that tell me "App Installer has crashed" Please help me!

I have a Xperia E1 D2004 

Version: 4.4.2

why don't you download the app from the playstore? most likely the app its not compatible with your android version.
