E5 Problem with deleting conversations

For two days I have a new Xperia E5.
I noticed that the phone has a problem with the removal of calls (understood as the SMS thread).
Deleting individual SMSs is normal, while deleting a conversation that contains two or more SMS takes about two to five minutes.

Anyone knows the cause of this problem?

one thing I would try is to boot on safe mode for a few hours to test it

Unfortunately, I go into safe mode, the problem does not go away.
Maybe some other ideas?

Are you using the default messaging app?

you could try settings > apps > select the app > storage > clear data but it might delete all the conversations.
