Deleting or transferring data to SD card

I am having a problem with my E5 that is driving me nutty, i'm about ready to take a sledge to it. With my old Aqua i did'nt have this problem. I purchased a new SD card (128 GB) for my E5 and since i can't use my windows xp pc anymore to transfer data using PCC because support for xp has been dropped (dumb move by sony there) i have to use the data readers connected to my pc to copy data from my old 32GB SD card to the new 128GB card (which works perfectly) and would'nt you know it, as soon as the E5 picks up the new card it leave the folders intact but wipes their contents.

On top of that problem i can not alter or edit or transfer any files between internal or external (SD card) memorys. I get the usual enable permissions etc ,, which have been enabled and disabled repeatedly, along with factory resetting the phone several times already,, all to try to fix the problem.

After an exaustive search online I find out that this new glitch is anything but, its apparently hardwired into the Android system to prevent tampering with ANY FILE on the phone. Even file Commander won't give me a break or will any other file manager as the response is always the exact same. I can't even use the built in backup system on the phone because IT doesn't have the required permissions to save to a SD card (even though its the sd card i'm trying to change) no matter how many times i have tried different backup software (both pc and android based).I'm not even allowed to change the storage area of individual apps (game or otherwise) to the sd card from internal because all i get is insufficent space, yet the sd card is is only at half capacity and thats part of the built in 'transfer' app.

What idiot in sony's tech dept thought that was a good idea. From what else i have found out it seems that my 128 card being wiped is something that Android is doing itself, on the off chance it was the new card I borrowed a friends spare and got the same result.

Can someone from sony please tell me what can be done to rectify this before my E5 ends up meeting a hammer or if they are releasing a fix for Android and this problem,, if it has been hardwired into android in the first place.?

Had a similar issue. I found my files on the LOST.DIR folder without extensions later. Also, some files became folders via magic.

Freeing up internal memory helped this.

I had great experiences with my old M4 phone, then bought the E5. SD Cards issues everywhere, wont buy anymore.
