Can't adjust ring volume

I never can hear the ringtones or the messagetones because the field in the adjustment is gray.

Hi @moonhopper, sorry to hear about this.

First of all, make sure that the do not disturb mode is activated in your phone. If it is, you will not be able to raise the ring volume / hear incoming calls or notifications.

You can turn off the do not disturb mode by either pressing and holding the volume up button on the side of your phone or by dragging down quick settings menu of your phone (place your finger at the top part of your display and drag it downwards twice, or once with two fingers). If you see "Alarms only", "Total silence" or "Priority only" tap on either of them and it will end the do not disturb mode in your phone.

If the do not disturb mode is not activated in your phone, try rebooting it to safe mode and see if you can raise the ring volume when third party applications aren't activated.
