Rx100m5a viewfinder switches off when the sun is behind me
The viewfinder switches off when the sun is behind me is there something in the menu to correct this ?

Sorry for the delay replying ,yes any strong light has the same effect and the viewfinder switches off ….dont recall when I was looking to buy the camera any of the so called reviewers mentioning this fault ! For me it would have been a deal breaker and I would have bought elsewhere

@Craigar12 Try removing the battery pack, wait for about a minute or something and then re-insert the battery pack, then turn on the power, because it might be a glitch or something.
