I purchased the Sony Cybershot DSC HX 400 V over other cameras of course for the overall specs and its brandname, but the time lapse function was also a good reason. After a few attempts i contacted Sony just to be informed that Time Lapse "is not available in your country"...Seriously? What kind of policy is that?
Has anyone had the same issue? Is there a solution?

Hi @Alupolis,
As far as I know the time lapse function is not built in in the DSC-HX400V, you have to purchase it separately, see for instance https://www.playmemoriescameraapps.com/portal/usbdetail.php?eid=IS9104-NPIA09014_00-000003
I never tried it myself, I'm not sure it is worth the money. I don't see why it wouldn't work in Greece.
Also, I can't understand that these models are still sold by Sony (and bought) as it is widely known that these series do suffer from a major recurring problem that makes the most of them unuseable shortly after the expiration of the warranty... the website http://sony-e-62-10.atspace.cc/ is entirely devoted to that problem, or just look for E:62:10 on the Internet or on Youtube...!
