How do I get rid of 'Watercolour effect' when I don't want any effects - just a 'normal' photo please?
Will be so grateful for your help

Hello DeniseRead - Welcome to the Sony Forums
Whilst trying to take a picture, if you press the MENU button and then PICTURE EFFECT, you will be able to select and deselect the various picture options including the Watercolour Effect. These are described in detail in the online Cyber Shot User Guide which can be found here:
If you still cannot turn off the Watercolour Effect, you can also reset the camera to the factory settings by going to the MENU and choosing:
SETTINGS --> MAIN SETTINGS --> INITIALIZE --> OK
Make sure that you do not remove the battery while this process is being carried out by the camera.
Thanks,
Simon
