I bought a DSC-HX300 very recently. I started the Playmemories software for the first time this morning and it immediately started to import the existing photos in my computer (iMac G5 OS 10.6.8) -- all two and a half thousand of them. I did not want it to do that. I eventually managed, after several crashes, to delete the photos but I cannot find a way to delete the empty folders. The online manual is no more help than the paper booklet which came with the camera.
Can anyone explain how I get rid of all the empty folders that I don't want?
