Hi, I'm new to camcorders and not very "techie". I've just bought a second-hand Sony DCR-PC6e PAL on eBay. It was described as "digital" so I assumed it would be computer compatible in some way (USB, memory card, etc.). The seller assured me I could connect the camera via Firewire to my XP laptop but on reading the accompanying manual it seems this is not a feature of this model and is only for the DCR-PC9e. It's important that I have this ability to upload video to YouTube?
Have I been misled and bought a pup?
