Can anyone tell me why I get a zig-zagging effect when I try and play back video footage on my PC, Windows Vista, (it could be my rubbish camera work) but not when I play back on my TV. Do I need a new Graphics card, (present one at least three years old), and if so what type should I be looking for?

If you are getting 'zig-zag' lines, this is probably happening becuase of a software issue as opposed to a hardware one - could you let me know the type of software that you are using to view your videos and also the file format of the video clips that you are looking at on your computer ie. whether they are .m2ts files are similar (the letter after the 'dot' in the filename).

Also, the latest version of the PlaymemoriesHome software for this camera was released at the end of November and this may also help you to view the files correctly - it can be downloaded from here:
