Recording Time

I´m thinking of buying the CX190E camcorder but can´t find any information regarding recording time. Can somebody pleae tell me approx how long can I record on HD using a 16gb SD card?

Hi deanscroft and welcome.

At the highest quality setting ("FX") @ 24Mbps, recording time on a 16GB card is around 90 minutes.

At Standard HD ("HQ") @ 9 Mbps, recording time is between 165 and 215 minutes.

Download the Manual and look at Page 65 to see the recording times for other quality settings - 'FH', 'HQ', 'LP', etc.
