Question

New to video cameras. To analyze a golf swing so I set the shutter speed high. On playback it had reverted back to 30 frames per second. I presume I did something wrong? It is a HDR HC7.

Hello TWMURPHY100 - Welcome to the Sony Forums

With the HC7, to analyse a golf swing you have to make sure that the 'SMTH SLOW REC' (Smooth Slow Recording' option has been selected from the 'PICT. APPLI.' menu. Once the camera has been placed into this mode, press 'START/STOP' to record your three second golf swing clip. There is more information about this feature on page 51 of the manual:

Adjusting the shutter speed in the manner that you described above wouldn't slow down or speed up the video.

Thanks,

Simon
