How can I import movies from HDR-SR12E to an iMac, if touchscreen display is not working properly?

Display is almost black and cant be controlled. Can I start import from iMac? How?

Hello Giagi06,

First of all, how long have you had your video camera? I ask this question because if it is less than a year you may be able to arrange a warranty repair for your touchscreen (more details on this are available in this forum thread).

On your iMac - if you are using iMovie, an import video window should appear once you have connected your camera to your PC. If this is not the case, what import software are you using?
