HDR-PJ220 Video file size and format

Hi,

I'm curious about the size and format of the video files saved by the HDR-PJ220. What's the average size of 10 minute or 1 hour video? And what format is it saved in?

Hi Raz, welcome to the Sony Forums

Have a look at the Sony spec page for your camera – http://www.sony.co.uk/support/en/product/HDR-PJ220E/specifications

Under 'Recorder/Player' you'll see it shoots MPEG4 AVCHD (HD) and MPEG2 (SD) format video.

Actual space required per hour will vary according to subject and compression, but 1080p HD video is around 10-12GB per hour.
