driver missing

Hi, we have a dcr pc/105E handycam, that we no longer have the driver cd for, so we cant use it with a relatively new laptop. Can anyone tell us where to safley download driver spvd-010 for windows 7 please? or have any other suggestions as to how we can get the video off the camera onto the computer. The camera is just not being recognised.

welcome to Questions & Answers..

It seems the original drivers & software are not Vista or Windows 7 compatible..

Does your relatively new PC have a firewire (iLink) port, if so try connecting your handycam to your PC using that port.?
