Hello famfil - Welcome to the Sony Forums

This camcorder is an iLink compatible model - this output is also known as Firewire. As such, this means that there is not a specific driver for your Windows 7 PC/Laptop. The only requirement is that you computer has a Firewire/iLink socket, and you will be able to connect your camcorder to that with the correct cable.
