Hi ridleyn123,

welcome to Questions & Answers..

No there are not any drivers that are Windows 7 compatible..

Does your current PC have a firewire (iLink) port, if so try connecting your handycam to your PC using that port as it states on the DCR-PC9E's support site that your handycam is fully compatiblewith iLink..

Hi ridleyn123.

There are no USB drivers for use with Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8.

If your computer has an iLink input (also known as DV or firewire) you can transfer as firewire drivers are included in Windows and you can simply import into something like the free Windows Movie Maker.

If your Windows 7 PC has an ExpressCard slot, you can buy a firewire card.

If your PC has no firewire and no ExpressCard slot, you need additional hardware to convert an analogue output from the camcorder to a digital form recognised by your USB ports. You need to buy something like this: -

For the required connections, have a look at Pages 97 to 99 of your manual: -
