Saving successfully from my CX410VE onto 5 year old Seagate 250GB Expansion Portable Drive. Purchased new Seagate 500GB Expansion Portable Drive and it just isn't recognized by the camera!
Problem isn't storage system because I have reformatted the drive and tried both NTFS and FAT. Wondered if the bigger drive needs more amps than the camera can supply (but cannot check as neither manufacturer provides that spec).
Does anyone know what the problem is and if there is any way of checking for compatibility before purchase?
