I've had this bloggie (TS10) for about two years. It had sat for about 6 months and when i went to use it it wouldnt turn on. figured it need a charge. Charged it all day and then it sitll wouldnt turn on.
Im not sure what to do with it, ive even gotten a replacement battery for it and when i plug it in to charge the light blinks orange once (this is after taking the battery out and putting it back in, if i do not remove the battery and unplug it from the usb and then plug it back in, nothing happens) and nothing.
Any ideas what may wrong?
Hi cmcary, welcome to the Sony Forums
There was a similar question a while back which was resolved by pressing the start button when the orange light came on:

Should this work for you, a Bloggie reset is achieved by powering off the camera, by pressing and holding the on/off button for 10 seconds, then powering on as normal.

Thanks for your reply.
I have tried this several times and is hasn't worked. The orange light isnt even on at this point when its plugged in to charge. When I do get it to blink, its just once when I push the on/off button while its plugged in. Otherwise I cannot get it to do anything.
This is a major bummer. Barely got to use the darn thing.
It does sound like a power supply issue.
It's difficult to say whether the problem is due to an internal fault or (quite possibly) the replacement battery being faulty. I assume it's a genuine branded one?
It may well be worth taking it to a high street camera store and asking for a repair quotation. There's always a chance it's a cheap & simple fix. If you'd rather use the Sony repair service, have a look at this thread: https://www.sony.co.uk/discussions/message/651957#651957
Hope you get something worked out
Mick
