Bloggie Software instal issues

I bought a Bloggie Touch today and am trying to install the software.

It gets so far and appears to have installed and says starting, but then i get directed to a google chrome page that says

" google chrome could not connect to localhost:2468"

then nothing.

I've tried un-installing it and re-installing (both with and without an internet connection) but get the same error message everytime.

I'm using a Vaio with Vista.

Any thoughts are much appreciated.

Hi Nkeene22, welcome to the Sony Forums

It sounds like a software conflict.

The best thing, to avoid having to troubleshoot all of the likely culprits, is to use different software to view your videos.

People seem to be successfully using Windows Live Movie Maker, or you could try VLC.

Both are free to download.

Rapport doesn't seem to be the issue. Installing it without the security software running still causes a "Local Host" error. Has any-one found a solution? Someone from Sony support must have an incling?
