WH-1000XM4 keeps ringing for few seconds after pickup, no sound afterwards

I have a Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones. When it is connected via a Bluetooth to a Windows PC, when receiving a call, headphones start playing a ringtone that keeps ringing after picking up the call for a few seconds. After it stops that ringtone, there's simply no sound.

This happens in WhatsApp Desktop and Microsoft Teams. Although this was not always like that, particularly in Microsoft Teams it started happening last week, in the case of WhatsApp it start happening a few months ago.

It happens in different Windows devices.

It seems to me that this is something related with Windows and/or some Windows feature these apps are using.

Does this happen with non-Windows devices as well? (Macs or phones, for example?)

I don't have any Mac, but with Android phone it works fine.

@vmcb95, did you try to uninstall the apps and reinstall them again?
