KD-43XG8096 Screen projection from win 10 -> Black screen
Hi,
I am trying to share my screen from Windows 10 to the mentioned TV. I am using all the latest updates on both devices. I can connect my notebook to the TV but the TV only shows a black screen, in Windows it shows that everything is connected like it should. Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi,
How do you connect your PC to your TV?
Maybe the resolution or frame rate isn't compatible with your TV.
Cheers
Peter

I expand my desktop and then select "connect wireless", I find my Bravia and connect to it.
I cant select any resolution in the expanded desktop, it's locked on full hd.

Have you tried projecting from a different laptop/PC or projecting to a different TV? This sounds like a limitation in Windows to me.

I run a HDMI cable (7 m) to one of the TV's HDMI ports from the PC's graphic card. Win-10 has to be configured for dual monitors.

I can connect my notebook but I still get a black screen and I cant change resolution or anything . Using smartview on my Samsung s8 works. I am clueless as I don't want to use an HDMI cable through my liiving room.

Use Chrome /Cast functionality instead. It is far more reliable than miracast
