Xperia 1 Touchscreen to sensitive

Hey all, just upgraded to the new X1. Great phone so far, have had Sony for like ever as I can't see past them but I am finding the X1 homescreen very sensitive,like my car charger cable sets the screen on etc. Is there any way of de-sensitising it? Iv looked at Mr Google but can't see any solution......maybe there is none....

There is no stock settings to change screen sensitivity. I have only seen that on Samsung phones.
