Can use Xperia Companion
So I was given a phone by someone and when I tried to get it reset by Xperia Companion it says this:
UEGetPhoneInfoRootedDeviceUE_20032.11.6.0
Windows 10 64 bit
Win32 / US
Its an Xperia E5823.
Any clue what I can do to fix this?

Try this:
- Delete the Google account or remember your credentials to enter
- Charge device to > 80% and switch it off
- Open Xperia Companion and do Software repair
- Tick the "my device cannot be detected or started, or is a SmartWatch 3"
- Follow the instructions
If that doesn't work than go read about Xperifirm.

Cheers, I tried that and it didn't work. Same thing. I will look into that, thank you!
Oh and I wrote this on my phone, autocorrect is responsible for the title...

suggested. Now I am trying to use something called Flashtool to try and
flash that to my phone.
https://androidmtk.com/download-sony-mobile-flasher
It gives the following error message when I start it up. I have tried
giving zip.dll file admin rights but nothing. I have no clue how to switch
it to English so I found a way to translate what it says:
FlashTool64.exe - Insert point not found
The JVM_GetLastErrorString input point of the process
could not be found in the dynamics library
C: \ Program Files \ AdoptOpenDK \ jre-8.0.282.8-hotspot \ bin \ zip.dll.
Any idea if there is some other program I can use to install this?

For that specific area you'll have to go to XDA Developers.
