Did you tried do that in other phone (to add your sim card in other phone), also are you sure that issue is not with you operator connection?

I'm sorry to hear about that.
If you send a text message to yourself (put your own number as receiver of the text), are you then able to receive the text message?
If you are, there shouldn't be any troubles with the phone and I would recommend trying with a new SIM card or another SIM card in your phone, if you can borrow one from a friend!
