The absence of DEPTH on crisp HD and 4K compared to classic analogue

The absence of DEPTH on crisp HD and 4K compared to classic analogue

If you watch an analogue broadcast or older style television pictures the waviness gives a shadowy effect on the picture that shows depth more to things on the screen. Modern televisions are too crisp for depth to be perceived properly and the same for the latest in game graphics. It's all looking too cartoonish and not like the hazy morning sky that natural eyes enjoy. There should be a way shadowy depth can be captured, or even if it's just the human eye that has this ability then it should be incorporated into modern picture quality.

Hi there

Interesting point you have there.  However for me, i like the sharp crisp clear picture that modern TVs give.

Cheers

Think of a pixel corresponding to a cathod ray tube(CRT). Everything is related to pixels quality and refresh rate. Each ones of those thousands. There are hundreds of levels in quality of pixels and of course hundreds of levels of prices. That's why you buy at 1000 pounds or at 4000 pounds a same size TV same brandt. Nothings else. Rest electronics are nowdays cheap. Very very cheap.
