I have had this mp3 player for the better part of 15 years. It has been used daily since I bought it.
During the time I've had this mp3 player it was in my pocket when I went gorge walking( it got completely waterlogged and still worked) I have run over in a tractor, it has been through every sort of weather known to man including - 30 degrees. The battery is still a strong as it was the day I bought it( it lasts about 17 hours. Very impressive)
It Astonishes me that this little thing still works after all that punishment, yes the writing has faded and the screen is so scratched you won't believe and I've lost the cap that covers the USB. I will make a deal with Sony that if in 10 years this mp3 player is still working I will return it to Sony for them to put in a museum. Well done to the people who designed and built this thing good job and thank you
