I have about 300GB of Jazz and Classical flac and DSD music. After the usual “Creating Database” function does its work on switch on, I find that many folders have duplicated tracks eg 1. Easy Living followed by 1. Easy Living etc. how can I clean up because deleting bits in 650 albums is tedious. (No duplicates when SD is viewed on a Mac). Also I have a SD card with a folder called “My DSDs” with about 8 different albums but when I view these under Sony’s Artist and Album indexing option on the player, all the DSs tracks are jumbled and also two of the same tracks one after the other...so a) no consistency in listening to an artist, b) duplication on top of this issue.Thanks...
Hi there,
I'm looking into this for you and will update the thread as soon as I have a possible solution. In the meantime perhaps another community member may be able to help.

Hi Serendib,
That sounds strange. Since you mentioned that the songs are not duplicate on your PC, I can only think that it can be a glitch from the Walkman itself. So, I'd recommend that you reset it so you can test this again. The steps are available in the User Manual here: https://helpguide.sony.net/dmp/nwwm1/v1/en/contents/TP0001449058.html?search=reset
Also, is your Walkman running the latest firmware version here: https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/digital-music-players-nw-wm-series/nw-wm1a
Let us know if this solves it.
