NW-A35 selecting music

I don't think my question is specific to the A35 - it probably applies to other MP3 players...

Basically, I am finding it a pain having to scroll alphabetically to select an album or artist (I have about 750 albums on my Walkman).

So I was thinking of changing my folder structure so I group my albums into folders that are meaningful to me. So when I go into the Folder menu, I would see this new folder structure to select an album.

This would be quicker than scrolling through the main Artist or Album menus.

Has anyone done this, or is there a better way to select an album?

Hi Peter,

Welcome to the Sony Community.

I'm not entirely sure if this is a solution, but it is possible to select tracks from the library screen. From here your tracks are classified into various categories such as [Album], [Artist], etc...

I'm used to but for sure old option to show up cover albums only made the process quicker to find an album
