I seem to be have a problem with my portable player.

Normally when I play my music I don't use the hold button as I carry it in my hand most of the time.

I just started to use the hold button on it. For some reason when I have this on, my portable paler switches itself off after a new minutes and restarts again. When I'm not using the hold juction it plays normal.

Could this be a fault?

Are you still holding it as you would usually or is it now in your pocket? Can you double check if the touch screen is still active even when locked, that may be causing the issues: http://helpguide.sony.net/dmp/nwa30/v1/en/contents/TP0001154022.html
