Losing playlists from NW-ZX2

I've had this problem with this unit since I bought it. I lose my playlists regularly, whether on System storage or SD card. I am at my wits end on this. I have tried and tested everything that I can think of. This happens (but not always) when I turn the unit off or recharge it - particularly via a standard mobile connection to the mains (230V). The playlists are easily recoverable by connecting and downloading via my PC (32-bit) but this removes the whole point of the unit i.e. its portability. I gave up on this question over six months ago but have decided to try again. There is, to my knowledge, no direct helpline from Sony, which I regard as particularly poor. Any help is appreciated.
