Downloading firmware updates

Hi,

Theres a firmware update shown for my DSX-A410BT. I've downloaded the update to my MAC and tried to sve it to a newly erased USB. Unfortunately when I try to update the Sony it shows update error. The USB is blank and doesn't show a Root folder. What am I doing wrong?
