Two days into owning my z1xsp and love it to bits. goodbye mr Thinkpad
Really nice keyboard on the Z1.
Anyway - I've installed windows 2000 on a new partition and got it dual booting - which was rather easy. PM me if anybody needs any help with this.
However, I'm struggling to find drivers for the Intel wireless and ethernet hardware - what good is a vaio without a network? I need win 2k for some legacy software (which I've just ordered a pcmcia parallel port card for the dongle!)
Does anybody know where to get win2k drivers for the intel 2200bg wireless card built into this machine? I'd expect there to be a generic driver that will work for this fairly popular card?
thanks
Guy
I figured this out today. Ethernet drivers are available from the intel website. I got the wireless 2200bg generic driver from another laptop manufacturers website and then installed the biongo client for wep features on wireless.
now if only I could get my esupport account activated :smileyrolling_eyes:
