Where can i get a recovery disc?

Anybody can help..? I own a Sony Vaio VGN-FS115B. The operating system used to be in German. I formatted the laptop and installed one Italian but i didn't have a recovery disc, and the new operating system doesn't recognize most part of the hardware. Where can i get a recovery disc? What type of hardware is originally installed in my laptop?

Welcome to the forum.

You will need to contact Vaio-Link for a new disc but I'm afraid they aren't cheap.

Some Sony machines have a recovery partition for you to make your own discs but I'm not sure about your model.

Also, I think you can only get a disc for whatever language the original operating system was supplied with rather than being able to order different language discs.

Downloading and installing the pre-installed Utilities and Drivers packages from Vaio-Link should solve most of the hardware issues.
