is going to be here in September and if it can offer the sated 30 Hrs battery life will be a serious rival for the iPod.
The only problem i can see is that it doesnt support WMA, MP3, or ACC. But if it comes with a converter i will be very tempted to trade in my iPod.
I think this is why the Mini iPod release date has been brought forward to the 24th of this mounth (July).
We were told at the shop by apple not to expect it untill September then two days later they decided to bring it forward, Thinking they might be a little aprihensive about the NW-HD1, just look at the size of it.

The new walkman certainly looks the part and seems to do everything one could want. I'm a little puzzled by the bit that says "The USB input on the cradle is unique to this product." I thought the whole point of USB was that it was UNIVERSAL! What's the point of having connectors that work on this machine only
