Sony Vaio VGC-LM1M help please

Hi guys my partner got an all in one PC/TV Computer its a  Sony Vaio VGC-LM1M

i went to reload it back to its new state to clean it up a bit as it was running really slow, everything was going ok and it was reloading but i,ve just looked round and the screen has gone blank, rebooting it dont seem to make any diff, but if i pull out the power lead and leave it for half hour then turn it on it starts to boot up then the screen goes blank again, i rebooted it and pressed F10 to get into the bios and it goes into the bios but the screen goes blank after about 20 secs, the green power light is still lite up and it seems like i can hear the pc loading but the screen is blank

any ideas please??

If the same problem happens in the BIOS Screens (try pressing F2 on boot up) and also in Windows, this usually indicates a hardware problem.

Check again using this guide: -

Are you using the Vaio Recovery Centre to reload the Operating System?  You are restoring to the original Sony factory condition?

When the screen goes blank, can you still see the images on the screen if you shine a torch on it?

shineing a torch on the screen and cant see any images,

the power light is still on and the sony logo at the bottom is lite up still, when i lison to the back of the pc it sounds like its still loading up or recovering,  will try pressing F2 on reboot now ..thanks for helping

it seems i have to pull the power out and let it cool down for a bit or leave it for 15 mins or so before it will load up again, i went into the bios a while ago and it shut off while in there as well so seems it may be a hardware problem, which bit of hardware i,m not so sure as not everything shuts down

I would have a word on the telephone with one of Sony's Local Service Partners.

Choose from the list in this link: -
