hi can anyone help ?, purchased notebook in hong kong , it has crashed following an attempt to install an external ethernet adapter, powers up but nothing on the screen , have been told i need a recovery disk, can anyone tell me where i can obtain one . many thanks

You need to speak to Sony in Hong Kong, Sony Europe do not support Asian machines.

Ah caught with the old its cheeper overseas trick. Didn't the laptop come with the restore disc?

You could have a look on eBay to see if any one is selling one of thoes and ask them for a copy of there restore disc's, they will probabuly want some cash though.
