Recovey Disks

New sony Vaio FS315E, made the recovery disks and used partiton magic to resize drive(s). Little fingers got to the disks and now I have an 80Gb c:\ drive and no recovery disks to hand. The laptop is still working but crashes. Any ideas of how to get out of this fix. I have the 4 original recovery disks from my previous vaio if that of any use?

I doubt that your old disks will be of any help to you as they will be model specific.

One solution is to contact Sony and order a set of recovery media (approx. €70).

Another possibility is to download and install all the pre-installed drivers and utilities in the hope that this sorts out the problem. These are available at Vaio-Link. It may also be worth downloading any other available updates on that page.
