Problems with my cdrw/dvd combi!
I have a PCG FR285 with a QSI SBW-241, and all of a sudden its started freezing playback and skipping when i watch dvds .
Can you help please!

You don't seem to have much luck with your VAIO, which leads me to think you should check your DMA settings.

Some people deserve to be hung doing things like that

They steal equipment not thinking about what the owner has of sentimental value, things like photographs. It's just very callas of them.
Someone did that in the North West with a camcorder. There was a video of a baby who'd died 12 days after birth, and the parents were devestated by the robbery. They never got the tapes back

OMG... that is so sad!

Just checked - all the DMA settings are as they should be from what I can see.

It would have been punted over to Glasgow by the end of the night it was stolen anyways, no chance of retrieing it now.
